The Stripper.

You know the music.  You may not know who wrote it, but you know the music.

David Rose (June 15, 1910 – August 23, 1990) was a British-born American songwriter, composer, arranger, pianist, and orchestra leader. His most famous compositions were “The Stripper”, “Holiday for Strings”, and “Calypso Melody”. He also wrote music for many television series, including It’s a Great Life, The Tony Martin Show, Little House on the Prairie, Highway To Heaven, Bonanza, and Highway Patrol under the pseudonym “Ray Llewellyn.”  Rose’s work in composing music for television programs earned him four Emmys.  In addition, Rose was musical director for The Red Skelton Show during its 21-year-run on the CBS and NBC networks.

I’m also pretty sure that I have found a future “Weekend Woman”.

I give you Ms. Dita Von Teese

Here she is either trying to be Catwoman or Emma Peel.  I’m not sure which.

About Ted

A husband and a father, those are the important things. A dog owner and a man who does not get to hunt and fish as often as he might like but hopes that that will change.
