Shootin today.

It’s important to drop the “g”. It’s Shootin not Shooting. Just like it is Huntin not Hunting.

Went to the range today during lunch. I’m lucky that I  work close enough to the Rifle Range to shoot during a one hour lunch.  From the time I check out at work to the time I pull up at the range it generally only about 10-11 minutes. If the range is not busy it’s easy to shoot for 30-35 minutes and still get back to work on time.

Today, today was beautiful.  Clear, low to mid 70′s no wind and no one at the range except me.  I hung a 8″ gong at 50 yards between two target frames and popped off  104 rounds of 45acp (13 8round mags).  Today I shot my 5″ Springfield, last time it was 100 rounds of 38 special through my Taurus snubby.

Maybe I’ll go again tomorrow and try and to take some pictures.

About Ted

A husband and a father, those are the important things. A dog owner and a man who does not get to hunt and fish as often as he might like but hopes that that will change.
